Per Betty Jo McCracken Ehn: People that knew Harley McCracken, when he lived in New Raymer, Colorado, remembered him as a traveling salesman and that he had something to do with a traveling show. Mother told a story about how he loved to act and perform and he was with a tent show that traveled around the country. Harley was described as a man with theatrical talent and always talking. Harley McCracken and his granddaughter, Aleida Roark McCracken, are both buried in Riverside Cemetery, Sterling, Logan, Colorado.

OBITUARY
The funeral of the late Harley J. McCracken, traveling salesman of Denver, was held this morning at 10 o'clock at the Jackson undertaking parlors. Mr. McCracken's death occurred at his home in Denver, the cause being apoplexy. He was 48 years old. Mr. McCracken is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle McCracken of Denver; and the following children: Miss Ruby M., a nurse in a Greeley hospital; Ronald L., a student in the local high school; Russell S., caretaker at Riverside cemetery here; and Orval, of Denver. Mr. McCracken was a member of the Masonic and M. W. A. orders. Local Masons were pallbearers at the funeral this morning, and Rev. E. Payne was in charge of the service.
