Elizabeth and George R. Baldwin were married on 22 Aug 1860, and had 3 surviving children: Elizabeth Susan (1864) m. Victor E. Dessart; Frances Caroline Welwood Baldwin (1867); and Wm. John Power Baldwin (1872) m. Beatrice Adams. Lizzie as she was called and George also had twin sons in 1871 who did not survive, George A. and Arthur T. Baldwin. George was a contractor in NYC and owned buildings at 238, 253, and 254 on Henry Street in Brooklyn. He passed away from throat cancer at the age of 50 and left a will wherein his wife could manage his buildings and sell his carts and horses.
