Mario J. Comesanas, 29, of Belleville, N.J., died on Monday, June 13, 2011, at Christ Hospital, Jersey City, N.J. The funeral will be on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, N.J., with the Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Michael's Church, Newark, N.J., at 10 a.m. The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from from 2 to 9 p.m. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Mario lived in Newark before moving to Belleville 20 years ago. He worked as a music programmer and host with SiriusXM Satellite Radio in New York. A graduate of Seton Hall Preparatory School, Mario earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Seton Hall University. He is survived by his parents, Gricel Hernandez Comesanas, M.D., and Mario Comesanas, M.D.; his grandfather, Alejandro Hernandez, and his sisters, Marie Ricca, Natalie Ricca and Melanie Comesanas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to , 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tenn. 38105, or the , 507 Westminster Ave., Elizabeth, N.J. 07208, would be appreciated.
