A graduate of Seton Hall Preparatory School, Mario earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Seton Hall University. He is survived by his parents, Gricel Hernandez Comesanas, M.D., and Mario Comesanas, M.D.; his grandfather, Alejandro Hernandez, and his sisters, Marie Ricca, Natalie Ricca and Melanie Comesanas.
