Carl Benjamin "Chucky" McDaniel, Jr. (Smoking Joe), age 47, died Monday, June 13, 2011 in Deltona, Florida due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Chucky was born September 11, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lizella. He served in the United States Navy and was President of Tobesofkee Cabinet Company, Incorporated. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Clarence A. Hammack and Susie Mainor Hammack; and paternal grandparents, Henry G. McDaniel and Edith Young Gentry.
He was an avid motorcyclist and a Racing Go-Kart enthusiast. He blessed all who knew and loved him by his great sense of humor.
He is survived by his father and mother, Carl and Margie McDaniel; brother, Michael McDaniel (Amanda); two nephews, Ethan and Cooper McDaniel, all of Macon.
