Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Thacker) Kaup; dearest father of Victoria Lynn Leganski, William Joseph, Scott Edwin, Edwin Joseph, Jr. (Kim) and the late Steven Paul Kaup; step-father of Sheryl (Todd) McPherson; dear grandfather of 19; great-grandfather of 2; dearest brother of Paula, Christine, Toni, Josie, Raymond and Judy; dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Ed was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and an active member of the American Legion, Veteran's of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Ed's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Human Society of Missouri or the Rollo-Calcaterra Legion Post #15 Child Welfare Fund.Services: Funeral from COLONIAL MORTUARY HOFFMEISTER-KRIEGSHAUSER FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 6464 Chippewa at Watson Wednesday, July 9, 2008 9:30 a.m. to Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, 6596 Smiley Ave. with the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow with full Military Honors in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
