Benjamin King Called By Death
Death Occurs At Home Here And Funeral Will Be Held Tuesday Benjamin King, 86, a lifelong resident of Wells county, died at 8:30 Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Sills, 1308 West South street,
after an illness of three months. He had been seriously ill for 10 days from pneumonia.
The deceased was born in Wells county on Aug. 27, 1848, a son of Gabriel H. and Susan Mendenhall King. He was united in marriage to Miss Jane McNatt, who died on Feb. 15, 1921.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Anna Thomas, Owensboro, Ky.; Mrs. Albert Sills, Bluffton, and William King, Liberty Center; one sister, Mrs. Emily Foust, Warren, and a brother, John King, Mo.
Mr. King was a member of the Baptist church at Liberty Center. Funeral services will be conducted from the South Liberty Christian church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Rollin Osborn, Daleville. Burial will be in the Woodlawn cemetery at Warren.
