Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on June 12, 2011 at her home in Magna, UT.

She was born July 26, 1936 in Fort Bridger, WY to Ralph and Margaret Anderton. She was the oldest of thirteen children.

She worked at juvenile court for twelve years. Her devotion to her family was the most important aspect of her life. She loved her grandchildren dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Adam) Smith; grandchildren, Heather, Melissa (Alec), Zach, and Josh; five great-grandchildren; four sisters; and three brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West). A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2011 and also two hours prior to the services.
Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates.
