Mrs Anton Nielson Called to Reward; Funeral Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs Margaret M Christensen Nielson, 64, widow of Anton Nielson, who died at her home here Sunday at 3 p.m. following a two months' illness of acute leucoemian, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Third ward chapel, with Bishop Alex Jensenn presiding.
Speakers were Chas L Bean, P C B Peterson and Bishop Jensen. Musical numbers included "Come Ye Disconsolate," "Sometime We'll Understand," and "Behold 'Tis Eventide," by a quartet directed by Mrs Otto L Anderson, with Mrs Chas A Jackman as accompanist; vocal duet, "Whispering Hope," by Mrs Harold Nielson and Mrs A B Robinson. The invocation was by Henry Peterson; the benediction by N P Peterson. George Sorenson dedicated the grave interment being in the Richfield cemetery.
Mrs Nielson was born May 6, 1870, at Ephraim, a daughter of Niels and Mariah Christensen, and with them made her home at Ephraim, Scipio and Salina. After her marriage to Anton Nielson November 11, 1888, she came to Richfield, which has since been her home.
She was the mother of six children, five of whom survive: one son, Arthur Nielson of Payson; four daughters, Mrs Eva Welch, Tupman, California; Mrs Mary Kennedy, Butte, Montana; Mrs Millie Slater, Garfield, and Mrs Marian Tanner, Richfield.
Surviving also are ten grandchildren; four brothers, Niels C Christensen of Salt Lake City, Joseph Christensen of Ferron, Andrew Christensen of Richfield and Marion Christensen of Salina.
