Mary Alice Heath McCollough

Ms. Mary Alice Heath McCollough of Co. Rd. 492, Samson, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was 66.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, in the Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, June 16, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Mary Alice was born June 11, 1945, in Covington County, AL to the late Homer Lee Heath and Mamie Lucille Hall Heath Tidwell. She loved to fish, crochet and listen to her tapes of the Bible. Fairview Baptist Church was blessed to have her as a member for many years.

In addition to her parents, her brother, Gene Heath, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Hugh McCollough (Tammy); four grandchildren: Kelly Merritt, Allison Bradley (Dereick), Christina Sebright (David), and Caleb McCollough; three great-grandchildren: Bryce Alan Merritt, Laney Grace Bradley and Olivia Jade Sebright, all of Samson; several special aunts, uncles and other extended family.
