Mrs. Bertha Cooley, 78, of 2 Kehoe Drive died at 2:30 a.m. today in Community Hospital after becoming a patient yesterday.
Born in Minnesota on April 20, 1891, she had lived in Moberly 20 years. Mrs. Cooley was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Union Avenue Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband, Wilkie; three sons, Duane Hawley, Chicago, Ill.; John Hawley, Boise City, Okla., and Lowell Hawley, LaPuente,, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Peterson, Hollywood, Calif.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Frank Brown, Belton, Mo. and Mrs. Loree Shippey, Visalia, Calif., and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Cater Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are pending.
