BRUCE JOAQUIN FINUCANE
A service for Bruce Joaquin Finucane of Oregon City will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at a family member's home in Portland, 145 S.E. Mill St.
Mr. Finucane died Friday in an Oregon City hospital from congestive heart failure. He was 64.
He was born April 7, 1928, (*see footnote below) in Oregon City and lived in Oregon most of his life.
Throughout his life, he worked as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. During the Vietnam War, he served in the Merchant Marine. From 1970-80, he was a pilot for a private company.
He is survived by his sons, Bruce of Warrenton and James of Portland; grandsons, James Finucane of Portland and Bruce Finucane of Warrenton; brother, William of Astoria and sister, Diane Goings of Salinas, Oklahoma.
