Lena Orr Hobbs was born Oct. 13, 1884 in Houston, MO. She was married to Charley Hobbs on Sept. 23, 1949 in Webb City, MO. They had two children. The first was a daughter, Clara Adeline who married Blaine Williams and moved to Columbia, MO. In May of 1941 Lena was called to come to their home because Clara was very ill. She died May 22, 1941 and was buried at Curtis Cemetery, Carthage, MO. The second child was Karl Eugene born May 1, 1917. In later years he and his family lived within two blocks of his parents on Forest Street in Carthage, MO.
