Sandusky- Eunice Arlene (Claubaugh) Miller, 78, 1312 McKinley St., died Saturday, Feb 14, 1998, in Firelands Community Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born on Nov 16, 1919, in Sandusky. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and a member of the U.S. Cadet Nursing Corps during World War II. She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1939 and the Providence Hospital School of Nursing in 1945. She retired from the former Good Samaritan Hospital as the night nursing supervisor after 30 years of service. She is survived by two daughter, Mrs. Robert (Paula A. ) Hoffman of Sandusky, and Mrs. Leon (Ruth J. ) Holmer of Toledo; two sons, Paul E. of Sandusky and James E. of Huron; ten grandchildren;eight great-grandchildren: three sisters, Mildred Mack of Brooklyn, OH, Beatrice Norcross and Elizabeth Smith, both of Sandusky: one brother, Roy of Henrietta, OH, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Miller; her parents, Thomas W. and Mildred ( Woodford) Claubaugh; one sister, Rosetta Trimarche; and one brother, Thomas Claubaugh. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Monday in the Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Services will be at 11:30 am Tuesday in the funeral home. The Rev. Cher Clay will officiate. Burial will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Providence Hospital School of Nursing or to the Firelands Community Hospital.
