OCALA -- Novella Abernathy Moxley, 88, a retired deli clerk for Pantry Pride, died Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.

A native of Spring Lake, she came to Ocala in 1952 from Hampton. She was a member of Wyomina Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty Noble, Silver Springs; son, William Earl Abernathy, Ocala; step-daughter, Betty Vanderbeck, Orange Park; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, H.M. Abernathy, and second husband, Richard Moxley.
