Delora E. Robinson
Delora E. Robinson, 81, of 701 E. Tenth Street, Claremore, Oklahoma and a former resident of New Martinsville, died Thursday, September 16, at the Clarence Medical Center.
She was born on March 26, 1901, in Wetzel County, daughter of the late James Ward and Rozena Tharp Newman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Burl Robinson, in February, 1981; two daughters, Doris Jean and Phyllis Eileen Robinson, two brothers Berkley and Burwell Newman.
She is survived by five sons, John B., New Martinsville; Ronald L., Kokomo, Indiana; James L., Claremore, Okla; Joseph B., Strongsville, Oh; Dr. E. Kent, Littleton Colo; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Connie Starkey, Claremore, Okla; one sister Mr. Roberta Burton, Clarksburg; three brothers, Joseph Newman, New Martinsville; Okey Newman Clarksburg; and William Everett Newman also of Clarksburg; 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Ratcliffe Funeral Home Sunday where services were held Monday at 1 pm with Rev. H. R. Mahon in Charge. Interment was in the North View Cemetery.
