Marvin Collins age 85 of 503 Duff died Friday afternoon at Samaritan Memorial Hospital in Macon. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Mosely officiating. Buried at Fairview Cemetery. He was a member of the church, a dean and Sunday School Superintendant. Born April 12, 1891 in Shelby County to Harrison and Matilda Cowen Collins married Bessie Hill Dec. 25, 1914. Farmed in Woodville. Survived by brother Vernon Collins of Roseburg, Oregon. Son J.C. Collins of St. Louis. 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a son-in-law Walter Dee Orbin, Macon.
