Roy was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a hard worker, always honest, and full of integrity and patience. He was kind and thoughtful to everyone around him and was a wonderful son, brother, husband and uncle. He was always willing to help others and was a good neighbor. Uncle Roy was a great example to his nieces and nephews, especially in his generosity and patience with them.
Roy married Belle W. Porter in 1985. She died in 1993.
He is survived by a brother, Max Kunzler, Park Valley; sister, Guenna (Kenneth) Yost, Burley, ID; 13 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Belle; his parents; sister, Lois Larsen and a niece, Sandrea Rasmussen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 1:00 a.m. in the Park Valley Ward Chapel, Park Valley, Utah with a viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. before services. Interment will be in the Park Valley Cemetery.
Roy always appreciated any kindness shown to him. At this time of sorrow, the family wishes to also express their thanks for the many who have served Roy throughout his life.
