Juanita Marie Mathis, 67, of Chatsworth, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at the Erlanger Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Roy and Pearl Roper Gentry; brother, R. L. Gentry; brother-in-law, L.N. Wood and special friend, Willie Ponders.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Jerome and Jacqueline Mathis, Cindy and Blane Justice and Jeff and April Mathis; grandchildren, Jade, Justin, and Conner Mathis and Austin and Stalina Kelley, all of Chatsworth; sister, Syble Wood of Rocky Face; sister-in-law, Martha Gentry of Athens, Tenn., and the Willie Ponders family; several nieces and nephews.
