91, of 208 Wiley Ave. died Nov. 17, 1994, at her home. Funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. The Rev. David Coffey will officiate. Burial will be in Olivet Presbyterian Church cemetery in McConnells. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at The Gillespie House at First Presbyterian Church. York Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Bankhead, born in McConnells, was a daughter of the late Samuel and Ida Robinson Crawford. She was a graduate of Asheville Normal College, widow of W.W. ''Bill'' Bankhead and a retired teacher in North and South Carolina schools.
Survivors are her son, Dr. Robert Bankhead of Carolina Beach, N.C.; daughter, Mrs. Charles Philip Boyd; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
