Mass of the angels was celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Angela's Catholic church in Pacific Grove for Denise Elaine Alvarado, 10-month-old daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Philip Alvarado of Carmel Valley. She died last Thursday night in a Monterey hospital after a brief illness. The father is a well known former peninsula boxer.
The baby was born in Carmel September 15,1958. In addition to her parents, the baby is survived by two brothers, Philip Douglas, and Richard Henry; three sisters, Rose Anne, Cindy and Diane; the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Angela Alvarado of Monterey; and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Duran of Gonzales.
Burial was in Mission Memorial Park.
