On June 18, 2011, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Milo Lane Warner returned home to his Heavenly Father at the age of seventy-four. He died of cancer and was a "down winder". He is the son of Milo and Valda Warner, both deceased. A sister, Beth, and a brother, Grant, are also deceased.

He was born July 20, 1936 in Antimony, Utah. He served an LDS mission to the Northwestern States. He also served six years in the Air National Guard.

He attended Piute High School. After graduation he attended Brigham Young University. Upon graduation he taught in three Jr. High Schools for thirty-four years, teaching history and geography.

He married his sweetheart, Carolyn Furness, in the Salt Lake Temple on March 18, 1965. Their six children are Mark (Dera), Sean (Ricaren), Paul, Brian (Jen), Bruce (Amy) and Ross (Shauntil); there are seventeen grandchildren whom he also loved deeply.

He is survived by brothers Robert (Afton), Ray (Louise), and Ken (Marilyn).

Lane was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He held many leadership and teaching positions. He served for thirteen years in the Jordan River Temple as an ordinance worker. Lane was recently released as the Stake Patriarch.

He loved to spend time with his family camping, backpacking, four-wheeling, vacationing, cruising, and monthly family gatherings. He also loved to read and write, authoring several books. He will be greatly missed.
