Dewey J. Sabin, 59, of 2208 NW 17, superintendent of the natural gas section of Sohio Oil Co. offices here, died Thursday at his home after an illness of several months. Rosary is to be Friday 7 pm in the Smith & Kernke funeral chapel, with mass Saturday 10 am also at Smith & Kernke. Interment is to be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
Born May 26, 1898 at Cornesville (Connorsville), Wisconsin, Sabin had lived in Oklahoma City since 1947 and had been with Sohio since 1943. A US Marine veteran of World War I, he was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. Before joining Sohio, he was a consulting engineer, served as general superintendent for two gas companies and put in several years with the mining industry in Argentina.
