Mrs. W. T. Cooper, 69, 210 Perishing, South Oakwood, died in Houston's St. Joseph hospital last night. She had been ill for many months.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the First Baptist church with Dr. W. H. Andrew officiating. Interment will be in the College Station cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper was born June 20, 1885, in Towash, but had been a resident of College Station since 1939. She was a member of the First Baptist church, an associate member of the TEL Sunday School class and a teacher in the Sunday School until ill health caused her to resign.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband, W. T. Cooper, College Station, two sons, W. T. Cooper, Jr., Rex Cooper and one daughter, Mrs. T. Y. Flint all of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. L. L. Campbell, of Temple, Mrs. John P. Magill of Tulari, California; two brothers R. L. Dyer, Phoenix, Arizona and J. W. Dyer of El Cajon, California and nine grandchildren.
