Mrs. Mary Coffey Paxton, Rt. 5, Greensburg, died Sunday, February 27 [1972], at 3:15 a.m. at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. She was 84. Mrs. Paxton was born February 15, 1888 in Green County and lived in Greensburg all of her life. She was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Lile, Rt. 5, Greensburg, and 1 grandchild, Mrs. Kay Squires, Greensburg. Funeral services were conducted Monday, February 28 at 1 p.m., at the Foster-Jones Funeral Home by Rev. Douglas Anderson and Rev. Landon Hadley with burial in the Hudson Cemetery. Pallbearers were James and Ray Paxton, George Thomas Coffey, Ellis, Vaughn and Ray Coffey.
