ROCK SPRINGS - Funeral services for lifelong Rock Springs resident Jack Clark Beveridge, 85, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at First Congregational Church-United Church of Christ in Rock Springs by the Rev. Ed Mendenhall. Military graveside services will be held in the Mountain View Section of Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon, April 9, until 8 p.m. in Vase Funeral Chapel in Rock Springs; and at the church Thursday morning until service-time.

He died April 6, 2003, at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs, following a brief illness.

Born Jan. 10, 1918, in Rock Springs, he was the son of Henry Morris and Mabel (Clark) Beveridge; was raised and educated there; and graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1936.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

An employee of I.M.L. Trucking, he retired as its manager.

He was a member of First Congregational Church and the Teamsters Union.

Survivors include his daughter, Carol Kamm of Nine Mile Falls, Wash.; brother, Arthur Beveridge of Greeley, Colo.; sister, Cora Berta of Rock Springs; three granddaughters; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Henry, Charles, George, Wallace and Robert; three sisters, Florence Fitzgerald, Gertrude Kourbelas and Lucille Lamons; son-in-law; and two nephews.
