BOULGER-CARTER.
An event of pleasing importance to a large circle of friends and acquaintances took place in St. Michael's church, Huntley, on Monday morning, Oct. 6, when Mr. T. J. Boulger, of the Ottawa fire department, was united in marriage to Miss Margaret J. Carter, of this place. Rev. Father Corkery, parish priest, was celebrant, and afterward offered up nuptial mass. The bride, handsomely attired in pearl grey crepe de chene, appliqued in white over taffeta, with Gainsborough hat, entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. P. Carter, and was attended by her sister, Miss C. Carter, who wore navy blue broadcloth opening over a white silk waist. The groom was supported by Mr. N. Tierney, of Osgoode. After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the residence of the bride's brother, Mr. Patrick Carter, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served. An enjoyable evening was spent by the large number of guests, among whom were Mrs. John Liston, and Master Fred., of Grand Forks, Dak., Mr. and Mrs. R. Redmond, Mr. and Miss Boulger, of Gloucester, Mr. and Mrs. Young and Mrs. A. Monk, of Ottawa, Mr. and. Mrs. T. Carter and Miss Flynn, of Carleton Place. About six o'clock the bridal party left for the capital amidst showers of rice and good wishes. The bride's going away gown was of brown broadcloth with hat to match. The gifts to the bride, which were both useful and numerous, included a pretty gold watch from the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Boulger will live at 40 DaIy street.
