She was a homemaker and a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
Survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law; three sisters, Pauline Shepherd, Christine Hartman, and Robena Brabson, all of Morristown, TN; one brother, Jay Carter of Morristown, TN; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services: Thursday, September 12, 1996, Anders-Rice Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Carson Moseley.
Burial: Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
