Funeral services for Robert E. Worsham, 511 W. 11th St., who died Friday were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Evans and the Rev. T. H. Wheelis officiating. Interment was in East View Cemetery.

Mr. Worsham was a resident of Floyd County since 1925. He was associated with American National Life Insurance Company for a number of years as superintendent, and for thirteen years was manager of the Happyvale Flour Co., retiring five years ago. Mr. Worsham was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and former chairman of the Board of Deacons. He served as music director at 5th Avenue Baptist church for more than 20 years and also served other churches in the association. He was training union and Sunday School music director for many years and was presently serving on the executive committee of the Floyd County Baptist Assn.

Jennings Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
