Harry V Griswold, 83, of 401 SE 12th Court, Fort Lauderdale, passed away Sunday at his residence. A resident here eight years coming from New Haven, Connecticut. Veteran of WWI. Survived by son Glenn of Manchester, CT; daughter Barbara Hammond of Norwalk, CT; brother Earl Griswold of Torrington, CT; sister Alice Fallon, FL; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services 3pm Tuesday at Lauderdale Memorial Park graveside with Dr Richard Neumann of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Friends may call 7 to 9 pm Monday at Fairchild North Federal Funeral Home.

Harry Griswold, 83, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, brother of Earle Griswold of Torrington, died Sunday.
He was born in Torrington June 12, 1890, son of John and Ella Griswold. He was a US Army Veteran of WWI and resided in New Haven most of his life, moving to Florida eight years ago.
In addition to his brother in Torrington, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louis Hammond of Norwalk; a son, Glen Griswold of Manchester; and a sister, Mrs. Olive Fallon of Gulfport, FL.
Funeral services and burial took place this afternoon in Fort Lauderdale.
