Died after a lingering illness, Mrs. Evaline Malone on the eve of September 17, 1881. Had Mrs. Malone lived until October 10, she would have been 63 years old. She was the wife of Richard Malone; in the joy and light of her youth she gave her heart to her fond husband, and they have traversed life's rugged pathway for 40 years, nothing arising to mar their happiness. Their love for one another was firm and enduring, what was the joy of one was the happiness of both. Mrs. Malone leaves 7 grown children, together with her husband and a host of warm friends to mourn her death. Our friend was an enduring Christian and her last words were for Jesus. The mourning husband and children have the heartfelt sympathies of the entire community.
