Died at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 1993, at his residence. He was 60 and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., 8 a.m. until religious services in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Rick Edmonds. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by four daughters, Sandra Rodriguez, Lavette Whiddon, Hope Menzie and Dianne Morris; a son, Todd Humphrey; a fiancee, Ruth Stephens; three sisters, Myrtle LaGroue, Marie Gorham and Marolyn Whittington; two brothers, Clark Humphrey and Morris Humphrey; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by a son, Keith Humphrey; father and mother, Sam and Claudia, a brother, Dewey, a sister, Grace, and a nephew, ClarkHumphrey. Pallbearers will be Al LaGroue, Larry Gorham, Paul Morris, Jeff Whiddon, Thomas Menzie, David Balfantz and Charles Salard. Donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation of Greater Baton Rouge, 3765 Government St., Baton Rouge, La. 70806.
