A. Francis Garlick, 79, of 1407 Chestnut St., South Connellsville, died this morning, April 15, 1982, in Connellsville State General Hospital. She was born February 12, 1904, in Broadford, a daughter of the late John and Cora L. Herrington Beatty. She wa a resident of South Connellsville most of her life and was a member of Albright United Methodist Church. She also attended Pennsville Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Orville D. (Adalee) Richter, of South Connellsville, and Mrs. Richard (Betty) Pilkington, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; two sons, William Garlick, Jr., of Melcroft, and John H. of South Connnellsville; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl Beatty of Winchester, Ind.; two sisters, Miss Clara Beatty of South Connellsville, and Mrs. Edwin (Jessie) Mosier of Amherst, Ohio. She was predeceased by her husband, William Garlick, Sr., in 1975; a grandson, Tod Pilkington, in 1976; four brothers, Ellis, Warren T., Robert, and J.
