GRAND PRAIRIE - Helen Campbell, a homemaker, died Saturday at an Arlington hospital after a short illness. She was 78.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Turnpike Church of Christ, where she was a member.

Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Dallas.

Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Campbell was born in Potosi and had lived in Grand Paririe since 1942.

Survivors: Husband, A. A. Campbell of Grand Prairie; son, Robert A. Campbell of Richmond; brother, Bill Slater of Sabinal; two sisters, Eloise Harmon and Verda Ponder, both of Woodville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
