James P. Seen, "Jim" an eight-year resident of Annapolis, and a previous 35 year resident of Edgewater, died on September 15, 2010 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was 71.
Born March 18, 1939 in Rochester, NY, he worked as a Construction Estimator for many years. He received a degree from the University of Hard Knocks which is affiliated with Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia.
Mr. Seen was a co-founder and past President of the Utilities Contractors Association of Anne Arundel County.
He is survived by his wife Margaret M. Seen, whom he married on November 26, 1959; his children, Kenneth (Bonnie) Seen, Spencer, WV, Stephen (Karen) Seen, Davidsonville, MD, Paul (Diana) Seen, Shady Side, MD, & Sonya (James) Walker, Owings, MD; brothers, Robert Seen, Glen Rock, PA & Harry Seen, Richmond, VA; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Interment followed funeral services conducted Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home P.A. Edgewater, MD.
