Barbara E. (Moore) (Donnelly) Falls, 94, of Attleboro, formerly of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Peter Donnelly and Edward J. Falls. Born April 8, 1917, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Andrew L. Moore and Edith (Hall) Moore. Raised in Brockton and Cambridge, she graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School. She then graduated from Boston City School of Nursing. Barbara was a registered nurse and was the head nurse at Goddard Memorial Hospital for over 10 years, retiring in 1976. She enjoyed dancing, bowling and knitting. She was a past member of the Brockton Italian Womens Club, Brockton Garden Club and the Brockton Ladies Guild. She lived in Brockton for 60 years before moving to Attleboro. She is survived by her children, Peter Donnelly and his wife Susan of Florida, Robert Donnelly and his wife Diane of Florida, Barbara Cecere and her husband Eugene of Attleboro, Kathleen Robertson and her husband William of Florida and David Donnelly of Yarmouthport and his former wife Darlene of Lakeville; her stepchildren, Mary Hill and her husband William of Cambridge, Eleanor Decker and her husband Tom of Arlington, Kathleen Whitley and her husband William of Florida and David Falls of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leo and Robert Moore. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Friday at 8 a.m. thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
