Meredith was born in Berkley, Michigan to George Andrew Ayling, Sr. and Marian Lucille Butcher Ayling. Meredith had seven siblings.
Meredith served in the U. S. Army for three years and was discharged in 1961.
Meredith was married to Gloria Ann Wenz on March 1, 1961 in Snohomish, Washington.
To this union four childred were born, all still living, and one foster son James Raymond Lane, deceased.
Meredith was a great father and a loving husband.
Meredith passed away from an extended lung disease and complications.

Meredith Donald Ayling, Sr., 62, died August 31, 2001 in Everett, Washington. He was born April 4, 1939 in Berkley, Michigan.
He is survived by fiancee' Betty Zurlo, daughter Tamara Conrad, Sons; Meredith Jr., Tom and Tracy; sisters; Thelma, Mary Lou, and Patty, Brothers; Ted and David, nine grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and many loving in-laws.
Services will be held Thursday, September 6th, at 1:00 p.m., at Purdy and Walters at Floral Hills.
