Andrew R. Fluhr, 60, 917 Burlington, died today in Crestline, Ohio, where he was working with Conrail. His death was apparently the result of a heart attack.

He was born in Valley Station, near Louisville, Ky., attended schools in that area and later served with the Navy during World War II.

Mr. Fluhr was employed with Conrail for more than 37 years in this area. He was a member of the United Transportation Union (UTU), National Rifle Association and the Isaac Walton League.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Virginia Fluhr; his daughter, Johnnie Meeker, Schertz, Texas; three sons, Andrew R. Fluhr II, and Lawrence J. Fluhr, Muncie, and David D. Fluhr, Fort Benning, Ga.; two sisters, Clara Clendenin, Muncie, and Helen Mercer of Colorado; a half-sister, Patricia Davis, Farmland; three brothers, George of Fred, Texas, William of Texas, and Donald Fluhr, Farmland; a half-brother, N.E. "Sonny" Sanders, Jr., Muncie; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. The Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
