OBITUARY
Johnny Botts
Services for Johnny Jay Botts, 54, of Brownwood, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2003, in the Rising Star First Baptist Church with Dick Williams officiating. Burial was in the Rising Star Cemetery under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home.
Mr. Botts died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, in the Brownwood Care Center.
He was born on January 5, 1949 in May to Floyd J. and Arlene Hardy Botts. He worked as a truck driver for years. He has lived in Brownwood for a short time moving there from Cisco. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Cisco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Michael Botts.
Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Botts of Abilene; daughter, Pamela Jenkins of Abilene; two brothers, Russell Botts and Steve Botts, both of Rising Star; three sisters, Shirlene Campbell of Brownwood, Jeanette Mitchell of Abilene and Judy Fink of Cisco; and a grandson, Jeremy Jenkins.
