Morris H. Moe Bailey, 76, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Colmery-ONeil VA Medical Center. He was born May 28, 1935 in Hastings, MI, the son of Floyd and Edith Moore Bailey. He served 20 years in the Air Force with tours of duty in Okinawa and Japan during the Vietnam War. He later served as a guard for Leavenworth Penitentiary and the Diagnostic and Reception Center in Topeka. Moe married Eiko Yonaymma on October 18, 1962 in Tokyo, Japan. She survives. Other survivors include his sister, Ethelyn Pung of Ionia, MI. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. today at Lynn Creek Cemetery southeast of Topeka where Military Honors will be presented by a Burial Detail from Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, MO.
