AUBURN - Michael Pavlyak, 85, of 31 Frazee St. died Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Services will be at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Plis Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre. Calling hours will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 220 State St. Mr. Pavlyak was born in Austria and had lived in Auburn area for more than 50 years. He of St. Nicholas Church, the Russian National Club and the Russian Mutual Aid Society. Mr. Pavlyak is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Helen Wilson of Amityville, Mrs. William (Anna) Kosct Auburn, and Mrs. James (Mary) Pantalos of Columbus, Ohio; a son, George of Syracuse; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
