Ms. Mae Agnes Jacobs age 96 of McMinnville, TN, died Sunday, December 29, 2013, at N.H.C. Health Care Center in McMinnville, TN. She was born February 26, 1917, in Warren County, TN, was a retired secretary with Warren Farmers Co-Op, and a member of Morrison First Baptist Church. Ms. Jacobs was preceded in death by her parents Allen Wesley and Carrie Louella Cowan Badgett, a daughter Cornelia Patton, a sister Virginia Badgett, and a brother John P. Badgett.
Survivors include her granddaughter Janice (Mike) Powers, great-grandchildren Carrie Hylton and Kate Powers, and her great-great grandchildren Chandler and Grayson Menz. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 02, 2014, at Bascom Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
