She was born May 6, 1914, in Hopewell Junction, N.Y., the daughter of Morgan and Jane (Smith) Davies. She married Merlin L. Feldner on May 17, 1936, in Canton. He died April 9, 2003.
Surviving are three children, Nancy (Paul) Mellican of Safety Harbor, Fla., David Feldner of Marietta and Linda Brown of Canton; eight grandchildren, Megan, Jennifer, Diana, Becky, Seth, Hanah, Kimberly and Michael; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; one infant son, Merlin Jr.; and two brothers, Morgan and Brinley Davies.
Ada was a 1932 graduate of Canton High School, where she was on the Pennant staff and was a founding member of the Peter Pan Club.
She was a secretary for the Fulton County Farm Bureau.
She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, the Canton YWCA Board, and was an active volunteer in Girl Scouts, the American Red Cross and her church.
She also was a member of the Skirt and Shirt Square Dance Club of Canton.
Services will be Wednesday, June 29, at 11 a.m. at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton, with visitation one hour prior. The Rev. Gary Dalmasso will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or Canton YWCA.
