EATONTOWN--Mrs. Hannah Amelia Hicks, 84, of 209 South st., this place, died Monday morning at the Monmouth county welfare home, Freehold, where she had been a resident two weeks.

Mrs. Hicks was born in Eatontown, daughter of the late Charles P. and Anna Riley Morgan. She moved back to Eatontown eight and a half years ago from Red Bank. She and her husband, John Hammell Hicks, who is her only survivor, celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last July. Mrs. Hicks was a member of the Red Bank Lutheran church.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Worden funeral home. Rev. Harold Hornberger, pastor of the Red Bank Lutheran church, assisted by Rev. Charles E. Bourne, pastor of the Shrewsbury Avenue AME Zion church, will officiate. Burial will be in White Ridge cemetery, Eatontown.
