LOCAL WOMAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS.

Funeral services for Mrs. Roberta Maris Robicheaux, 68, 3118 Frederick St., who died at 5:45 p.m. Sunday at the Schumpert Hospital following a lengthy illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with the Rev. William O'Hanlon, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be at Centuries Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Osborn Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Osborn chapel.

A native of Louisiana, Mrs. Robicheaux was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, of the Queensborough Garden Club, of the Shreveport Iris Society, of the Ge. Kirby E. Smith Chapter No. 2273 United Daughters of the Confederacy and of the J. Milton Edwards Post No. 2238 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Ovid J. Robicheaux, Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Richard T. Powell, Jr., Thibodaux, and Mrs. John M. Dill, Donaldsonville; two sons, Ovid Robicheaux, Dallas, Tex., and Jean M. Robicheaux, Shreveport; and 14 grandchildren.

The family requests that contributions in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
