He was born September 11, 1883 in the town of Brillion, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter and Theresa Zipperer Braun. He was married to Rose Fischer, Oct. 14, 1923 in Whitelaw. In his early years he was a carpenter and then farmed until time of his death.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors are two daughters, Miss Dorothy Braun, Brillion, Mrs. Frank (Roselia) Krizek, Manitowoc; a son Norbert, Brillion; 7 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Schuh, Brillion, Mrs. Erwin (Anna) Pick, Jefferson; a brother, Anton, Brillion; a sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Ray Dowling will officiate.
