Kari Reid-Rummel went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 7th, 2010; at Kalispell Regional Hospital in Kalispell, Montana.

Kari was born March 30th, 1988 in St. Maries, Idaho to Shelly (Croson)-Rummel and Robert Reid.

Kari spent her early years in St. Maries, and in 1992 moved with her mother to Plains, Montana. In October of 1992 right after moving to Montana, she had to say goodbye to her beloved grandfather, Larry (Big-Heavy) Croson, and then in August of 1993 her beloved brother, Kyle Wayne Irelan, as they had both gone home to be with their Lord.

In December of 1996, she had the pleasure of welcoming her brother, Eric Rummel into her family.

Kari loved being with her friends, brother, & family. She loved drama, being in numberous plays, dancing, and playing softball. She als enjoyed summers out at Camp Bighorn as a camper and later a staffer; spending time with her Dad, family, and friends, and getting the oppurtunity to go with Teen Missions to Australia and New Zealand. After Graduating, she went off to Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, Wyoming, and then to Kalispell, Montana to live & work for a brief time, then back to Bible College in Wyoming. After that, the went to Bailey Colorado to work at a Christian Adventure Camp (Camp ID RA HA JE) as a wrangler, working with horses and campers for a summer. She then came back to Plains, Montana only to seriously break her ankle. This gave her the oppurtunity tobe a baby-sitter/mommy to three lovely little boys, Lane and Luke Dameron, and then Tyson Felix. This was such a special time for her.

She worked at Subway here in Plains, a job she loved because of those she worked with and those who came in to be served. It was the highlight of her days.

She is survived by her father, Robert Reid of St. Maries, Idaho; her mother and step-father, Shelly and Tom Rummel of Plains, Montana; her brother, Eric Rummel of Plains, Montana; her Grandmother Vivian Croson of St. Maries, Idaho; her Grandparents, Glen & Darlene Rummel of Plains, Montana; her other Grandparents, Don and Shirley Irelan of Fernwood, Idaho, & numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends whom she loved so dearly.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Kari's life on Saturday, October 16th at 2:00 p.m at The Plains Bible Chapel, 8 East Fork Combest Creek, in Plains, Montana.

And as we will all miss her so much, her Lord decided He needed her much more than us.
