NASHUA -- The marriage of Miss Ruth Detra, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Detra, Plainfield, and Ray Shadbolt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Shadbolt, took place at the Methodist shurch in Plainfield, Sept. 22, the Rev. Edgar Walker officiating. They were attended by Helen Detra, sister of the bride and Clyde William, Shell Rock. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The bride and bridegroom are graduates of the Plainfield high school and the bride of the Molar Beauty School in Chicago. For the past year she had been owner and operator of the Beauty Shop at Kirkland hotel here, and the bridegroom is employed by the Nashua Equity Association.
