PALMER - Joseph C. Rodowicz, 82, of 17 Faracon Ave., formerly of Ware and a retired draftsman, died yesterday at Quaboag Nursing Home in West Brookfield.

His wife, Loretta A. (Lechowicz) died in 1957. He leaves a daughter, Evelyn Beck of Ware; a sister, Julia Machnik of Three Rivers; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; a niece and nephew. He was born in Three Rivers, son of Casimir and Frances Rodowicz, and lived in Ware for 20 years. He graduated in 1932 from Palmer High School.

Mr. Rodowicz was a draftsman at Diamond International, Inc. in Thorndike for 35 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Three Rivers, the White Eagle Society in Ware and Senior Center in Palmer.

The funeral will be held Thursday from Cebula Funeral Home, Inc., 66 South St., Ware, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Sts. Peter & Paul Church, 267 Main St., Three Rivers. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ware. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 57 Suffolk St., Holyoke 01040.
