She was born April 24, 1904 in Fairfield to David and Mary McDowell Miller. She married Andrew Meitzler on July 14, 1924 in Armstrong. He died in 1965. She was also preceded in death by a son, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ostrom of Modesto, California and Lois D'Urso of Champaign; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
