Ms. Ashley Renee Karas, 16, resident of 301 Blair Dr. died January 3rd, 2011 at her home.
Born January 20th, 1994 in Niagara Falls NY, she had lived in this area since she was six years old and was a student at Wheatmore High School in Trinity. She had a love for life which was spent helping others. Her beautiful smile lit up the room, she will be greatly missed.
Surviving is her mother, Angela Peterson and husband Brian of the home; her father, Ray Winarske of Niagara Falls NY; her sister, Bree Peterson of the home; grandparents, Stephen and Beverly Karas of High Point; grandfather, Jack Winarske of Niagara Falls NY; uncle, Joe Winarske of Niagara Falls NY; aunt, Robin Kalota and husband Dan of Tucson AZ; and second cousin, Steve Campagna of Holland NY.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Brad Pharr officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.
